Use & Safety Policies
Introduction
This policy explains how Anuvyx systems and tools may be used by consumers, developers, and businesses. Our goal is to enable innovation with AI while protecting people, complying with the law, and maintaining trust and safety.
By using Anuvyx, you agree to follow this policy and our Terms of Service. Violations may result in action on your account, including suspension or termination.
Core Principles
- Safety first. We design, monitor, and enforce safeguards with privacy-by-design review processes.
- Shared responsibility. Users and developers must use Anuvyx responsibly and lawfully; our rules do not replace your legal, professional, or ethical duties.
- Transparency. Disclose when AI assistance is used and avoid misleading people about the nature or source of outputs.
- Continuous improvement. We update these rules as we learn from new uses and risks. You may appeal enforcement decisions.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use Anuvyx to harm people, break the law, or undermine safety. The following are strictly forbidden:
A. Harm, Violence, and Crime
- Threats, intimidation, harassment, or defamation.
- Promotion or facilitation of self-harm or disordered eating.
- Sexual violence or non-consensual intimate content.
- Terrorism, violent extremism, or hate-based violence.
- Weapons development, procurement, or use (including CBRNE).
- Illicit goods, services, or criminal activity.
- Malicious cyber activity; compromising systems or property; intellectual property infringement.
- Real-money gambling.
- Circumventing Anuvyx safeguards or engaging in unsolicited safety testing.
B. Unauthorized Professional or High-Risk Advice
- Tailored guidance that requires a professional license (for example, legal or medical) without an appropriately licensed professional’s involvement.
- National security or intelligence use without Anuvyx review and approval.
C. Privacy & Surveillance Abuses
- Aggregating, monitoring, profiling, or distributing private or sensitive data without authorization.
- Building or operating facial recognition databases without data-subject consent.
- Real-time remote biometric identification in public spaces.
- Using someone’s likeness (photorealistic image or voice) without consent in ways that could confuse authenticity.
- Evaluating or classifying individuals based on social behavior, personal traits, or biometric data (for example, social scoring; inferring sensitive attributes).
- Emotion inference in workplaces or schools, except when necessary for documented medical or safety reasons.
- Predicting an individual’s likelihood of criminal conduct based solely on personal traits or profiling.
D. Protection of Minors
Anuvyx must never be used to exploit, endanger, or sexualize anyone under 18.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including AI-generated or partially generated content.
- Grooming or sexualized communications with minors.
- Exposing minors to age-inappropriate sexual, violent, or graphic self-harm content.
- Promoting unhealthy dieting or exercise, body shaming, or dangerous “challenges.”
- Underage roleplay involving sex or violence.
- Assisting minors in accessing age-restricted goods or activities.
Note: We report apparent CSAM and child endangerment to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
E. Manipulation, Deception, and Civic Integrity
- Academic dishonesty; cheating or plagiarism services.
- Deceit, fraud, scams, spam, or impersonation.
- Political campaigning, lobbying, or election interference (foreign or domestic), including demobilization or suppression tactics.
F. Automated High-Stakes Decisions (Human-in-the-Loop Required)
Do not use Anuvyx to automate decisions without qualified human review in sensitive domains, including:
- Critical infrastructure and product safety components.
- Education, housing, and employment decisions.
- Finance, credit, and insurance determinations.
- Legal and medical decisions.
- Essential government services, national security, migration, and law enforcement actions.
Legal Compliance
You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including:
- Intellectual property and publicity rights.
- Privacy & data protection.
- Sector-specific and regional regulations.
- Prohibitions on defrauding, defaming, spying, stalking, hacking, doxing, or phishing.
- Bans on sexual exploitation or depiction of minors and pornographic depictions of real persons without consent.
Developer Responsibilities
- Implement appropriate moderation and safety controls for end users.
- Do not remove or bypass Anuvyx safeguards unless you have explicit written authorization (e.g., approved red-team engagements).
- Clearly label AI-generated outputs where reasonably necessary to avoid confusion.
- Keep up to date with policy changes and best-practice guidance.
Enforcement & Reporting
- We review and enforce with privacy safeguards in place.
- We may restrict or withhold access where reasonably necessary to protect users, our service, or the public.
- If you believe we made an error, you can appeal; we’ll review and work to make things right.
- Report suspected misuse or policy violations through the designated reporting channels.
Updates
As usage evolves, we may adjust this policy to remove unnecessary restrictions or strengthen protections. The latest version applies to your continued use of Anuvyx.
